Tomorrow I leave for Chicago! I love visiting there and I’ve pretty much have lost track over how many times I have visited. I’m going to spend 19 hours with my best friends and I cannot wait. A little girl time never hurt anyone, right? Don’t get me wrong, I MISS John and Elle like crazy. I’m not very good at leaving and I worry about everything. I should really learn to cope with it better, but I think that just happens when you have kids. You live in a constant state of paranoia. At least I do anyways…
And then upon my return I have Johns vacation to look forward to. I LOVE his vacations but mostly I LOVE spending every second with him. I get him to myself for a WHOLE week! Well… kinda… he’s kicking me and Elle out so he can focus on our mini re-model, but Elle and I can find plenty of things to do! I love taking her places!
Then it’s Easter……which is my next favorite holiday aside from Christmas. It’s beautiful and I love the meaning. Easter church service is BY FAR the best around and I love seeing little kids dressed up and I love the family time and polish food I devour. YUM! I love making Easter baskets and my carrot cake! I just LOVE Easter.
And then the Monday following Easter, we have a big girls day planned with the fam! Pretty excited! Me, Elle, my Mom, Sis, Christian, Auntie Beth, Tristan, and Grandma will be hanging out for a bit. They all get to do this more than me, but since I have Monday off I get to join in on the fun. We all use to go shopping and go out to eat A LOT together and over the years that has died down a bit. Some of my best memories with them are in the mall, eating out, and riding in the car with my Grandma to these destination while she had major road rage. These may not sound like great memories to other people, but when we get together we have a GOOD TIME and laugh A LOT!
