Family Outting

Yesterday we had to run a few errands when I got home from work. First stop, the library. We had to grab a few things and we thought why not let Elle roam around in the little kid section. She loved it… for a little bit and then got bored. Our local library has a super cute kid area. They had books for all ages. In this picture, she was looking at a picture book. They also had a lot of toys to play with, but… since my goal is to make it through her 1st year without having the flu and/or going on antibiotics, we decided to save play time for another day. Meanest Mom in the world, right? Maybe, but I did let her play with a puzzle and I’m still secretly stressing out about it.
Then we had to go to Verizon to get me a new, boring phone. Elle was a total ham! We have never seen her so outgoing around a bunch of strangers. She was totally smiling it up for the guy helping us and making all these crazy noises and getting everyone in the building to laugh. She was loving every ounce of attention. The guy helping us also had 2 kids (boy & girl). He shared that his kids were exactly 3 years apart and that him and his wife’s anniversary was on Valentines Day and it was a “special day” for them. I thought that was pretty cool until I thought more about it… it can’t be that special if they are 3 years apart…….LOL.
Then we went to Wendy’s because I’m obsessed with their fish sandwich. YUM! Once again, a little ham. There was a guy sitting behind us and she just kept waving and smiling at him until he responded. The guy was probably not any older than 20 years old, so I’m sure he didn’t think she was that cute, but we did.

Who is this outgoing baby?????? This really is a fun age, I swear she does something new everyday. What a QT PIE! We LOVE her!
