We have ALL seen one of these, right? The dreaded boogey squeezer or bulb syringe if you want to get technical! I remember using it on my little brother and sister and now I have to use it on Elle. The boogey squeezer has been a necessity throughout Elle’s 7 months. When she was first born, she had so many boogers. She was the mucous queen! The first one we owned was taken from the hospital. I literally couldn’t live without it because if Elle was stuffy, she was crying! We carried it everywhere and then Winston (our dog) chewed it to little bitty pieces. We were DEVASTATED! So, we went to the store and bought one. That one was horrible. You’d push the bulb in and it would just stick. That would leave Elle crying……not only did she still have boogers, but she was pissed because we shoved it up her nose. Then I got smart and got one from work because well………we sell the ones the hospitals use. Welp, Winston chewed that one too! FANTASTIC, right!??! Then luckily my wonderful sister-in-law had an extra one, so that’s the one we are using. Not great suction, but it will do. It will do until today because look what I discovered! Also, do you notice how calm the child is in the picture?

let me know how that aspirator works...its gross but i will try anything else! Ezra hates the bulb!!!
ReplyDeleteToo funny Kathy! It must be a dog thing because Abbie chewed up Brady's when he was a baby and she's been eye-balling Blair's.
