Technology Sucks

Tonight John asked me to check the voicemails on his cell phone because he was expecting a call and couldn't do it at work.  I call his voicemail and lone behold, there are a ton of old messages that have to be re-saved.  The first one was from me in Feb 2007 and they just kept going and going and going.  So sweet.  I LOVE the fact that he saved all my messages and has been listening to them over and over for the last 4 years!  There was also one on there from Cindy and she literally talked about a vaccuum cleaner for 2 minutes. LOL. I couldn't even listen to the whole thing!  There was also one from his Mom that he has been saving since Jan 2008.  She called him 10 months before the presidential election and told him 2 reasons why he shouldn't vote for Obama just in case he was thinking about it.  Seriously, HILARIOUS.

Anyways, technology sucks.  I can't remember the last time I left John a voicemail, once I call and get it I hang up and text him.  A text message doesn't accurately express any thought or feeling.  Lesson for the day... leave your loved one a voicemail, that way they can have something to listen to down the road.  If only I was as smart and thoughtful as my husband sometimes.  I'm a lucky girl and I will leave him more voicemails from now on.

Since I'm reminiscing, here is a picture of us together on Easter 2007
